It's a made up word. A single word that can express a lot without offending those around you.
One of my sons always says "grrrr!" when something isn't going right for him. And some people we know often spew out the second two words (in various combinations and order) when they're mad, hurt, something bad happens, excited, happy about something, etc. But of course, blurting out those swear words in the work place can get you in trouble. Blurting them out in social settings can even get you slapped. So a more politically correct and appropriate word was needed to not offend your co-workers, shock your kids, or upset your church going friends.
And so "gerfukenshite" was born!
The origin of the word came from months of serious discussions with some good friends of mine, Casey G. and Stephen A. about what could and couldn't be said in a workplace. After careful deliberation over context and usage, the word was born. *
Enjoy my friends. The word rolls off the tongue like an old German swearing over dropped sauerkraut at a church social.
I named this blog Gerfukenshite because the word encompasses just about everything I might ever want to say on this blog. Hopefully I don't offend too many friends and relatives with it. :-)
